Bad Fish
May 2021 • Family
The fish were not up to scratch and I expected more. Had potential to be enjoyable but seemed there was a lack of effort from staff.

Lovey Experiance but…
Oct 2021 • Family
We had an enjoyable trip out here, but in the current crisis the social distancing at the start and the queuing needs altering.. you have to pre book which is a good thing but the whole system needs a re think.

Was a lovely day out and will be back in the future

Great for grandson
Sep 2021 • Family
The aquarium was such a great fun place to visit. My 18 month old grandson was in awe of all the fish, totally mesmerised by them. Not to big that he got bored. I loved watching the fish and his little face light up as they swam by him.

Absolutely great place to visit for all ages
Sep 2021 • Couples
Absolutely great, the fish are wonderful. I visited with my Dad and it’s not just for children. It is quite dark in areas, which it has to be to make it more natural for the creatures, they wouldn’t want constant bright lights but It was difficult to read some of the signs. You can exit by mistake quite easily. We walked around the Jurassic area and it was light hearted, but informative. This part was fun if you had children, but we still found it interesting. There was a chap who worked there with a dinosaur puppet, very nice, friendly chap. Nice to talk to him as he was also knowledgeable. We had a drink in the cafe, it’s thirsty work as it’s hot in the aquarium, but I’d expect that. Good value for money. I joined the mailing list so bagged myself 15% off, so made it even better value for money. On the way out we spoke to a really nice lady who worked on reception and asked a few questions, she too was friendly and knowledgeable. All-in-all a really great experience. I’ve been to the Dubai aquarium so wasn’t expecting a lot but this exceeded my expectations. Only negative, no social distancing. Think this is because everyone so busy looking at exhibits that they forget. Think this needs to be addressed as I do feel it would be easy to catch covid in here as everyone so close in a warm, humid environment. Would definitely visit again.

No social distancing adhered too, staff had masks on under there chins, once inside we were forced into having a picture taken after i said no, it was heaving!! We couldn't move for people, most of them which where uneducated and loud types with multiple children. The animals where beautiful and we enjoyed looking and reading about them but it was very dark inside the aquarium. The cafe was just a disaster, my food got given to someone else! The toilets where revolting and the signing was absolutely terrible, we nearly exited by accident and where forever going the wrong way around. However the one saving grace was jurassic falls, it was brilliant and outside so you could breathe!! The dinosaurs where great and my 3 year old loved it so much, there was a man with a baby dinosaur puppet who was just wonderful with my daughter!! He made her day. All in all it was a nice place but if i dont catch covid from there i will be surprised..

First visit
Aug 2021 • Family
We had the chance to.visit the aquarium, I've never had the chance to go before, we were really impressed with our visit, it was was really informative on different species of fish what we saw & read about, the venue was pleasant & clean to walk round, the staff who we were in contact with were pleasant & helpful, there was also a new attraction to walk round jurassic falls, where you walk round with life size models of dinosaurs & their habitat, it passed a good couple of hours, what with us doing the quiz as you make your way round the attraction, I fully recommend families young & old visiting, a well thought out attraction on the seafront.
