We always like to visit Magna when we are in the area. It provides a full day out if the weather is good as there is also an extensive outdoor play area, also a wet play area so take swimming costumes and towels to make full use of everything. The indoor Exhibits are based on the elements and there are... More

This was our second visit to Magna and we have enjoyed it again. There are lots of different things to do, all to do with science and machines, the fire tornado is our favourite part! As adults we found the history of steel to be quite interesting, a little lost on the children though. My children are 4 & 7,... More

This is a great little place, I took my 3 year old nephew who did get a little scared at times as it is dark and eerie in places but he loved it over all. I never knew the history of steel could be so interesting, but this has been made so by the way it is demonstrated here. There... More

Who would have thought the history of steel making would be interesting? Well this place certainly makes it both interesting and interactive. All of our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay including our 13 year old daughter. We spent about 2 1/2 hours in this eyrie at times, massive old steel factory. Recommend for adults and children of all ages.

Attended an event over a weekend inside the Magna Centre huge building small car park. The first thing you notice on entering the arena is the smell of stale beer and urine. The corridors and refreshment areas were dark and dingy. The food and drink counter was poorly stocked and poorly run also overpriced.

I visited to undertake a bungee jump as part of my New Years Resolution - new activity each month. It was very busy with people queuing for both the main Magna attraction and The Abyss - separate queues would be advisable. The staff were friendly and although the computer system was having Wifi problems they were able to sign me... More

Really wish Magna would state on their website how cold this place actually is. Turned up on a fairly warm day and the inside of the museum was BALTIC! Really couldn't enjoy the exhibitions due to shivering and not being able to feel my feet! I spent most of my time under the hand dryer in the toilets trying to... More

Visited here on Thursday with my cousin and her 10 year old daughter. Had a great time. Arrived at about 10.20am and left at 4pm. The big melt show was very interesting and we enjoyed all 4 of the different zones although the earth zone was the least interesting. Quite a few of the activities were not working throughout which... More

We had been wanting to take our boys to Magna for some time, as it is only about an hour from where we live and we like to introduce them to different experiences. With my wife away with her sisters for a few days, the opportunity presented itself for a visit and so today, Good Friday, we booked online and... More
