Saw The Crucible here with friends. Good seats, comfortable and good leg room, bar prices not overly extortionate, close to bars and restaurants for pre theatre nibbles...perfect.

The Mercury Theatre has welcoming helpful staff always on hand from the reception staff to the ushers. Comfortable seating with a good view from all seats thankfully. Good quality shows of various genres from Christmas carol concerts to pantomime to Agatha Christie plays on offer....More

Interesting source of knowledge / good for families with kids / enough things to make them interested and thoughtful. Nice park in the front of the theatre where you can sit down on benches or in the back of the theatre where you can see...More

Lovely local theatre with a very varied programme from comedy, drama, music, dance etc. Comfortable seats and good views from most points in the auditorium. Booking easy from box office or on line.
