If you are walking Hadrian's Wall and you want to stop off to see the sights of Carlisle, don't even think about having your dog with you. An unfriendly town with a pathological hatred of dogs. The Cathedral take note : dogs do not steal...More

Volunteer guides help visitors with answers to all their questions and a printed pamphlet outlines the key internal features of the Cathedral. We were fortunate to visit this beautiful building while the organist was practising for an upcoming service. Divine!

Popped in with my daughter just to visit the Cathedral. Beautifully made as most cathedral's are. Even a small service going on.
