If you love planes...then you'll love this place. If not, you'll still like it but it's not a full day out and there's hardly any catering (that we could see). One word of caution, it's quite open so if the day is windy/cold/rainy, then go elsewhere.

We decided we would have a family afternoon out and as my youngest grandchild loves planes we headed for Manchester Airport. It isn't the first time we have used the visitors centre as it is a really good place to watch the takeoffs and landings at the airport. You can also go and check out the inside of the planes... What a fantastic place to visit to see the planes close-up and actually get on-board some of the exhibits too. There is a shop which is well stocked with all sorts of aviation paraphernalia as well as a restaurant with great views over the two runways

I have two young boys both under4 they have a plane train and car obsession so we decided to visit here for an hour whilst because we went on for Sunday lunch. The boys loved it. The cafe is expensive for three coffees and two fruit shoots it was £15. But other then that I can't complain

Went by myself for a day watching the planes! Had lunch in the restaurant the staff and the food was good. Also went round concord, five pounds for a twenty minute tour, well worth the money. The guide was great too. Great to sit in that unbelievable aircraft what a machine. Planes were coming and going all day!! Heaven cheers.

Interesting place to visit. Watch the planes of today take off and remember the birds of yesterday. Good with the kids, Concorde is a dream.

Been here a good few times over the years, great place to take the kids if looking for something local. But there are other areas you can see the planes from in the local area. If safe clean and staff are always welcoming

A great time, it was a lovely sunny day so we were able to spend a few hours there and have something to eat at the cafe. There are also picnic tables should you wish to bring your own food. Lovely grassed areas and a viewing deck. You are able to see the planes quite closely taking off and landing.... More
