We went here with a little scepticism with it being placed on a caravan site. We had the best day.. It is basically a few large warehouses jam packed with Fairground rides fro the past.. you can buy tokens from the reception and young kids ride free. There is a lovely café area which also houses a stage. The large... More

Our friends who live locally to this attraction; decided to take us for a visit, they had been perviously and throughly enjoyed it. We arrived on a Wednesday, and the winter opening times were in operation, we arrived one hour early, no problem - made to feel welcome. Wednesday was Tea Dance day, 13.00hrs to 16.00hrs, so the venue was... More

This has been on my list of places to visit for a while now, but I kept putting it of because I expected it to be a poky little place with a couple of old rides in it. How wrong I was! Loads of stuff there - classic fairground stuff, traction engines, old amusement machines, vintage bikes, vintage card and... More

Would definitely recommend this place. The staff were lovely and found the price to get in very reasonable. Not sure if it was because it was the end of the season but nothing was on and not much atmosphere . Did ask a member of staff if anything worked and was told ' Yes we just get fed up hearing... We recommended to go by a friend and had a great morning looking round the museum. It was a quiet day so the kids had more or less free run of the place, and the friendly staff were happy to turn on any of the rides they wanted. Yes you have to buy tokens for the rides on top of... More

I wasn't sure what to expect, but what an absolute delight. The collection seems to go on forever and there were so many reminders of days gone by. Several sheds full of vintage vehicles and fairground organs, a full sized carousel and a ghost train (I didn't have the nerve to go on it!) and other wonderful exhibits including a... More

I can find nothing negative to say about this attraction. To be greeted by the sound of the theatre organ being played was a bonus. I had not expected to be being played that day.The rides brought back memories of holidays in Felixstowe and Charlie Manning Amusement park. The staff were attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble even opening... More
