This is a great day out loads to see. Take a picnic and chil in the wonderful gardens. Also take time to see the old coach collection.

This is a free spot in the middle of stockwood Park close to jn 10 of the m1. Some exhibits, a little museum. It's not amazing but it does make an excellent hour out for the family.

Love coming to stockwood for a few hours. The museum usually has a new exhibit every few months so there is something new to see. The gardens are kept beautifully and it's lovely to see in any season. Lots of space for children to let...More

My husband and I met some friends and we went with children under 3. There really wasn't much to do for them there at all and if it wasn't for the (rather poor to be frank) play area then they would have been bored silly....More

Just love Stockwood Discovery Centre. It Free so that's a massive plus. We have been back many times over the years and provides a rich source of history for the local area.

A good place to visit to fill a period of boredom. Play areas and café but also a really good display of transport through the ages , particularly all the old carriages and so on. You are best to go on a good weather day...More

Admission to the Discovery Centre is free, although some special events attract a charge.
