Not a bad place to visit in your spare time but go with friends or you'll get slightly bored wondering around tediously.

Spent a couple of hours here just after the new year. Boy what a find it's a lovely place steeped in history, loads to see and lots to learn. I arranged for my family and some friends to visit the Discovery Centre in August. The centre is located in a beautiful urban park with period formal gardens. There is a tea shop, play area for both younger and older children and free parking in the park.
