This could be a lovely course, but for two things. 1. the greens are so covered in sand that i needed a sand wedge to putt, and 2. the fairway grass is as long as normal first cut rough on other courses. Otherwise the course is quite enjoyable and offers a rewarding challenge for the high to mid-handicapper.

Have played as a society here a couple of times. On the whole the course is good for social golf - not too challenging with plenty of room. But greens have been disappointing both times - this time very variable quality green to green, some more mud than grass

The golf staff were very helpful & offered the Beds County Ladies courtesy rounds to help support their training to compete in East Region County finals. Plenty of staff available to cater for our food order. Everyone were very friendly & supportive. A tough course to challenge your game but loved the challenge.

A recent find of ours -The Club House ( the 19th ) a this lovely venue! Ideal for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch of even a cuppa and cake in the afternoon! Just a few yards from Adams Brasserie offers a less formal ambience than the Mansion House ! Will recommend to all our friends! Great after shopping in either Luton... More

The course would repay playing a second time, and I'd like to do that. Interesting holes, beautiful parkland (and reference an earlier review, they must have cut the rough since then - we lost a couple of balls but we shouldn't have hit them there). No bunkers! Food in the bar / brasserie very tasty. But nearly £5 for a... More

I have played on many many courses in both the uk and abroad and I have to say that this course was very average - the condition of courses very much depends on the time of year you play so I won't comment on that it was just uninspiring for me, I liked that there were no bunkers and that... More

Have just returned from a fabulous break at Luton Hoo with dinner, bed and breakfast with two rounds of golf at an exceptionally reasonable price for us and four of our friends. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful at all times from Adams bar (in particular Lucy), restaurant and pro-shop. We could... More

I must say that Julie W's review sums it up. Burnt out greens, terrible tee boxes, waist high rough with thistles and nettles. If it was a municipal course I would have been disappointed. In such a great setting surely they can do better. Currently there are at least 10 better courses within 15 miles...
