My family and I have been members of Woodside Farm in the past and when our son decided he wanted to celebrate his 6th birthday somewhere with a soft play area, Woodside seemed a natural choice. The booking and organisation of the event was straight forward with the Farm staff bring immensely helpful and friendly. On the actual day, they... More

As grandparents we took our grandson of five years and our new granddaughter of 9 months to Woodside Farm. For little ones, even in really bad weather there is enough to give them a short, interesting walk if the weather is that bad, and then take a break inside for the soft-play area, and naturally a coffee for oneself too,... Everything was rather wet even though it was not raining -perhaps the staff could prepare tractors etc before opening. I thought the animal food was quite expensive. Fine for a... More

I have visited this farm a few times now with my grandsons, who love it! Reasonably priced and lots to do around the farm. Although the cafe is over priced for the potions you get. There area picnic areas available both in and outdoors.though.

Visited on Sunday afternoon when weather was pretty chilly. There are not a great many animals, but the stars of the place must be the alpacas. With beautiful eyes, and a gentle but enthusiastic approach to taking the purchased food we gave them, they were a hit with us all. The playbarn is pretty standard but adequate for a warm up after walking... More
