In between the rain showers we had brilliant free tennis on good courts. This was followed by a visit to the adjacent cafe for lunch. Chips and sausage sandwich went down very well.

Much work has been done to this park over recent times and it provides a tranquil setting with thousands of plants and open green spaces. A re- opened lake, sports facilities and playground for youngsters. Two cafe's both worth a visit.

For a big town green head park is really nice and laid out well. Children can play on so many parts of the park and I prefer to run around the park away from any traffic. Lovely little spot

Great for families or anybody! Lovely walk around the park with a cafe in the conservatory. Brilliant play areas for children and also a padding pool too. Plenty of squirrels in the trees to look for. Very clean park and we'll worth a visit.

We'd never visited the park during our many years living in the town but it has proved to be the perfect place for a stroll as my partner recovers from surgery. The facilities, especially the glasshouse, are wonderful. Every age bracket is catered for in some way. A real gem,

A Victorian conservatory eating/drinking experience seated around the indoor pond or relaxing on the leather sofas the menu will entice and reward the visitor to greenhead Park. Healthy food and cake treats at unbelievably reasonable prices.
