Built for the second Duke of Atholl in 1758 and restored in 1953, this folly sits on a rocky outcrop overlooking the turbulent Black Linn Fall, which affords fine views of the distant woodlands.

As the hall was shut for a private wedding the visit was a bit pointless. If you go on the NTS website there is no advance notice of weddings so it's a lottery. Shame that a national site of this beauty can be closed so...More

Fantastic view over waterfall enhanced by the theatrical setting of Ossian's hall. Don't be put off by the closed door its part of the experience. Just walk in the slide open the other door to get the view (and sound) of the waterfall

Short walk from the parking lot and what a nice surprise. You walk through the door and are surprised with the mural and view of the falls.

Ossian's Hall is reached by a lovely, easy trail along the banks of the River Braan and it overlooks a gorgeous waterfall. Well worth the walk.

Ossians Hall was absolutely beautiful however if it wasn't for my quick thinking to try the door a different way then we would never seen the spectacular views of the waterfall. When you enter the building there is another door that you have slide open...More

Yes done bridge is next to it and the falls. guess that it's approximately 500m from car park. Hope that helps you& that you enjoy your visit.
