The wall is part of the Hermitage trail walk. It is a nice fall but not worth a long drive. I'm sure it is very pretty when the water is rushing and they've had a heavy rain.

I visited late in the evening when there very few people around. The trees and the viewing hall were magnificent.

The powerful waterfall and the fact that it rains a lot enhance the greenness of this beautiful place....it's worth visiting but avoid the rush hour.

Lovely day , weather fair , all geared up. A lovely easy walk , great for families , go 'off road' down to the river for a bit of scrambling adds to the adventure.

Staying in the area have visited here a couple of times great place for a leg stretch with or without the dogs (muddy after rain). Nice views along the walk as well as from Ossians Hall. Forms part of the Dunkeld and Birnam path network

Great to see the hall being restored. It is asurpriding gem in the woods. It has the thrill of standing over the waterfall which teenagers seem to like anif you are lucky you might see leaping salmon.

Always worth popping into this wee folly to admire the magnificent Black Linn Falls from the viewing platform when you're taking a walk through the Hermitage (or if you need to take refuge when it starts raining!). The falls are best after it's been raining...More
