Free Entry so you can’t grumble but it’s a very average little museum. It’s nice but nothing to rave about. Best Bit: the upstairs interactive room where you can get hands on Look out for: it’s on a steep bank, ad is most of Buxton....More

Free and wonderful compact but informative museum. Must visit if you visit Buxton and are interested in your surroundings.

I love my smaller local museums and galleries with this one being a corker! The current Derbyshire Art prize exhibition is a winner too so go whilst it’s still on.
