For a relatively small building, I found this museum to be packed full of brilliant artefacts. Set over two floors, I ended up spending far more time here than I first imagined, and left feeling very impressed with this free to enter town museum.
I liked this museum, it gives an excellent insight into Buxton's past & there are some very interesting exhibits on the history of the area.
A really interesting way to while away a few hours.

Free Entry so you can’t grumble but it’s a very average little museum.
It’s nice but nothing to rave about.
Best Bit: the upstairs interactive room where you can get hands on
