Spent a lovely morning here with my toddler looking for the Gruffalo in the forest trail and exploring the veg/ fruit gardens. Very good/ friendly cafe for lunch too. Will be back to explore the house!

Never had to pay to enter a national trust garden (I've visited 3 or 4 previously) so that was a surprise. The gardens themselves are beautiful and the tour of the house is good. The tea room/resteraunt is ridiculously overpriced. Bring a picnic and enjoy...More

At Upton house and gardens today. A well kept house and gardens. The house has been transformed into how it was in the period of the Second World War. Very well laid out with informative room guides. Well worth a visit

We were very impressed with this NationalTrust House.We had tea and cake on arrival whilst waiting for our tour slot.We had two slots one for the Art Gallery and one for the house both were excellent and informative.We would definitely recommend a visit.

Upton is only open on the Friday, the 25th. The house opens at 1pm by timed entry (you can pre-book tickets online) but the gardens, restaurant and shop open at 11am.
