Love the fact it's themed from the moment you arrive with the professor greeting you at the door. Rooms are clever and fun. We escaped the gran's flat room but sadly not the murder. Great that it was all explained at the end though!

As Escape Room virgins we have nothing to compare it to. However, we did the Alleyway (Dark-ish but obviously not pitch black) and it was great fun. We did it with our 3 kids (15,21 & 25) which felt like the right number of people...More

We visited here for my brothers birthday with our partners and other family members. We were a team of 7 and we did the will room which was a great game. It really tested our brains and got us all working as a team and...More

For a small independent escape room venue that is fairly low on tech (think steampunk styling, pen and paper, walkie talkies rather than monitors), this is amazing. The brainchild of the Professor (who stays in role throughout with a perfect balance of encouragement, sarcasm and...More

We did the Space-station room on a works team building sesh. Ended up just the four of us, I have to say I wasn’t expecting the ambience and the spectacle that was offered to us. The attention to detail was fantastic. We were immersed in...More

We have completed 3 of the rooms at Clockwork Escapes, all were extremely well thought out with fantastic attention to detail. Most recent visit was 'Starpoint Alpha' which was challenging and very professionally constructed. Professor is also a great host. Highly recommended!

Having done quite a few escape rooms we thought we’d give one closer to home a go! Our games host was brilliant - a very flamboyant individual who set the scene brilliantly! What we like about this was that it wasn’t just about escaping- it...More

Visited on Easter Monday with our 2 teenage sons. We had delayed the other rooms so we’re happy to return to play The latest one “Where there’s a will”. The hosts here are always great scene setters and whilst we were met by his assistant...More

Love Clockwork Escapes! I booked the Alleyway first for my partners birthday at the beginning of March and we were completely hooked after that! We booked to do all 4 rooms by the end of the month!! Each room is a completely different experience, but...More

An okay experience badly let down by the appalling language of the host (f word every five seconds - totally unacceptable for a family group). The rooms are fairly tatty and tired, and clearly put together as cheaply as possible without any real attention to...More

Not in any of our current rooms, I'm afraid. All the tests we've run show that there just isn't enough space nor enough to keep 8 people busy and having fun. However, our next room is hopefully going to be for 2 - 8... More

Hello there! We've had children as young as 7 accompany groups of adults and groups of 11 year olds handling the rooms just fine on their own. So, if you're planning on playing on the team with them, a nine year old should... More
