We have visited this place on many occasions and am amazed at how whoever thinks up the seating does so. When taking young children you would expect the said children to be able to see the show so why therefore is the seating such that even adults are unable to see above the person sitting in front? I had to... More

The venue can get a little overcrowded on big nights, particularly big rock nights. Good old fashioned atmosphere with the circle all swaying and head nodding and the stalls mob giving it some. A hot July night at such an event had me losing around half a stone. Special event made it worth the discomfort. Stumbled back to the Travelodge,... More

needed to pick pre booked tickets up and the venue didnt open the doors until 7;02pm by which time there was a queue forming from 3 different places outside, security opened the doors and told people to use any door to go in, ticket collections were actually one woman sitting there with a mass of tickets, a money tin and... Sited around the back of the civic, the wulfrun is like the civics poor relation. In need of desperate modernisation. Toilets a mile away, antiquated, full of rubbish and no loo roll. Staff on door and at bar all very friendly and efficient. Sound problems with chubby, hecklers giving him jip about it but they were making it harder to... More

Have been coming to the Wolverhampton Civic Hall for over 30 years and have to say I love it. Don't know what people are saying about the acoustics as I have always found them to be great. Saw James here in early December and they were fantastic as always. The views from everywhere on the floor were great and the... More

Visited last Friday night to see the Bootleg Beatles for the first time and was looking forward to having a bit of a boogie. The band were AB FAB and were keen to get the party started however I felt the evening was spoilt by the venue staff who felt it necessary to continually patrol up and down the aisles... More

Went to see Ken Dodd. And an excellent show, but the venue let him down. The seating is too close together, with no leg room, dire for a 5 hour show. The toilets could not accommodate the numbers. And the bar remained open throughout the show thereby encouraging the audience to get up during the show ( so the whole... More
