It's been many years since I visited West Park with my children and, as I remember, it was looking a bit run down. Not sure when it received a cash injection but it's been well spent in the playground area. Good quality, vandal proof equipment for all ages. My grand children were very impressed. Even though it was a cold... More

I've lived in the Midlands near here for over 30 years and never visited this stunning park. Only that I had a friend in the hospital opposite I would never have found this little gem. We have since visited regularly with picnics and our sons on their roller skates. Great family location, and even better in the sunshine. A must... More

First visit to this park just on the outskirts of the city centre. Beautifully kept with ease of access and well maintained paths. Great to see so many birds in the large figure of eight lake. Appears to be well used by all ages. Parking was easy all around the edges of the park. Super.

On our latest visit we took our two dogs but have previously also visited with my Mom who was in a wheelchair. A pretty example of a Victorian park. It is flat, has a lovely tearoom, boating lake, hothouse, children's play area, a bandstand with occasional concerts and beautiful gardens. It is ideal for cycles, roller skates, wheel chairs or... West Park is a primary park in Wolverhampton. It is lovely just to walk around at anytime of year but also hosts a manor of events from food festivals through to firework displays and a annual summer festival. Everything is always well managed and the park is well kept. There is also a small hot house where more exotic plants... More

This park is full of colour, wild life and cosmopolitan life styles. In summer an excellent place to take the children and to have a picnic. Also a good place to go for a walk, play games or run.

I have been enjoying this park for years now growing up in Wolverhampton, from when I used to go as a child with my parents, to a teenager and now as a father myself. Very well maintained which I cannot say for many parks, the flower layout and choice are great. The biggest attraction for us as a fmaily are... More

Hi Paul H ~ Thank you for your four star review of West Park. We're glad that, in the main, you enjoy your trip to the park. Sadly, for us there will always be a small element of anti-social behaviour but we firmly believe that good behaviour will drive that out. Hopefully your little boy was not too traumatised by...
