Lovely cafe in a refurbished glasshouse which originally was part of a Victorian walled vegetable garden. The attractive garden and surrounding woodland was saved for public use by the intervention of local residents. Food is very reasonably priced and delicious. Excellent!

Alot smaller than I thought, and not very well advertised. The food was very good, seating inside and out. Parking was on the road but plenty of space around

The whole facility is really good and the café is welcomed but tends to be run by volunteers. Now I know, we shouldn't criticise a volunteer but some of their routines delay the service and this takes some enjoyment away. Despite the long queues for...More

What a little gem and so pleased we finally managed to visit this place. It's not the easiest place to find, but parking was actually better than expected as we simply parked on the road. It's not particularly big, but fantastic paths mean it's totally...More

A lovingly tended walled garden, with great cakes and tea. Plenty of varying weekend activities- we are lucky to be on the doorstep, but would be a charming place to take any visitor.

The gardens are stunning with plenty of areas you can sit and enjoy the wildlife in the two large ponds.

Not a great deal to see, but they have a very nice cafe and the food is good. Afternoon tea is very good.

Yes you can take a dog but please place it on a lead so we can protect the crops growing in the kitchen garden and the wildlife (such as birds) near the pond. There are dog bowls of water near the glasshouses. Whilst dogs... More
