Really beautiful buildings to enjoy. Market full of odds and ends, not our cup of tea but worth a look. The medieval abbey and buildings nearby are worth the visit.

A visit to Tavistock would not be complete without a wander around the pannier market. Leave some time to take in the historic buildings and a cup of tea.

Nice location, enjoyed a wander through the market. Lots of local and regional wares and bought a few items. Would go back again if we are in the area.

Visited in July, nice market, with farmers market just outside on the day we visited(Friday). Spent a nice hour looking around the market, and bought enough for a pleasant picnic lunch.

Spent an hour in the market. It's quite good, but could offer a bit more choice. The exterior shops add value in the external square and include a great cheese shop where we bought some Sharpham Brie, Vintage One and Devon Blue and Whortleberry Chutney.

Traditional setting in a historic town. The market had lots of different stalls with friendly sellers. There were nice areas to sit outside for coffee, lunch etc.
