Cant visit and unable to get closer than the photo. Wasted journey on our castle visiting day. Google and tripadvisor are both out of date. The English Heritage sign needs to be taken down also. Such a shame.

We was very lucky to be staying locally on one of their open days. Very informative leaflet was handed out on arrive. Very interesting place. If you are lucky to be there on one of their open days should not be missed.
