Hard to find - cannot understand why the town does not seem to play on the fact it's the most easterly point of the UK? It's interesting to know you can't go anywhere more east on foot. I went when the wind from the North...More

Suffolk council you have really missed an opportunity to redevelop and regenerate this area. Such a shame for the people of Suffolk not to be able to show off the most Easterly point with pride unlike people living in the most northern and western parts...More

Sorry Lowestoft council but you should be ashamed. Compared to J.O.G and L.E. this place is a dump! sort it out, spend some money and it could be a winner

For one of the stand out attractions in Lowestoft the area of Ness point was a bit of a disappointment if I'm honest - the most easterly point of the uk and thus should be made into a more attractive area to visit - maybe...More

The most easterly point of the British Isles - glad I visited and one of those things that's nice to tick off the list. But, I'd completely echo some of the other comments that so much more could be done with the site. The most...More

The most easterly point of the UK is graced by a vandalised, abandoned and half finished incomprehensible concrete art installation. It's a cross between a small grain silo and a gasometer. It's more brutal than brutalist art! The Euroscope is a sort of ground mounted...More

It's the most eastern point In England. It's has a compass which tells you which states what you would travel to if you walked/swam in a straight line. Not much there but a thing to say you have done. You can walk to Lowestoft seafront...More

To get to Ness Point you have to walk through an industrial area and not it's not pedestrian friendly. As one local has said "Sort yourself out Lowestoft." Better off going to see Mutford Lock and the bridges.
