We stopped at a car park on the trail at Loch Leven and walked a couple of miles to Kinross. Great walking path and varied. Lovely views of the Loch. Quite a few bird hides to view wildlife from. The entire trail is 13 miles...More

This trail is great for bikes and walkers, I have even known people to cross country ski around it! There are several places to stop around it - Loch Leven larder, the boathouse and the rspb vane farm. There is a play park at Kirk...More

A great walk if you feel like one, sadly the clouds of midgies put a downer on it during the summer months but on a nice winters day it's a good walk especially with a dog. A nice abandoned church can be found a little...More

our walking group started at the Golf Club in Kinross and after crossing over the course, continued on the trail to Mary's gate, the rest of the group had to stop there and wait for me as I tended to lag behind though later on...More

A walk, run, cycle or just a visit, this may be completed in one go or bit by bit. Some parts maybe very busy due to ease of access and that area's attractions or facilities especially Kirk gate and Burleigh areas. Several cafes on or...More

My advice is to park at either RSPB Vane Farm or the car park on the south side near the lodges. Walk round clockwise, take your time, soak up the location and take binoculars. Pack a picnic and enjoy!

it's a 13 mile walk around the loch itself and it's been so well managed and looked after. Suitable for all users, wheelchairs and pushchairs would get round. It's pretty much flat with a small incline near the RSPB centre but it's level all the...More

Its about 13kms around the Loch on a flat well maintained path. There are shorter circular walks you can do instead. Certainly worth a visit with good views of the Loch and some historical features of interest along the way. Free parking a bonus!

This is the old cemetery for the parish of Orwell. The church was also on this site but it was moved to Milnathort in the seventeen hundreds. Some very old and interesting gravestones.
