We went here for a concert with friends. We met up in one of the bars where the atmosphere was lively and friendly. The concert itself was an all- standing event but with good views from all positions. All in all, a good experience

I saw the stone roses here and for one seeing them in my home town was enough. But I couldn't of thought anywhere better than the Victoria theatre. The atmosphere was amazing and all the staff were good with the amount of people that came. Big bands 100% need to do gigs here.

Thank you - we're really glad you enjoyed the gig. We love it when big bands play the Victoria Theatre too and the Stone Roses gig was amazing. Hope to see you back again soon! More

First time here and very impressed with initial phone contact with box office. A beautiful old theatre with very good legroom in the stalls

It's really good that the first point of contact you had with us was a good experience. The stalls legroom is great - we had the stalls refurbished in 2008 when the rake was put in! Thank you for taking the time to review us and I'm really pleased you had a good time at the Victoria Theatre. More

Very impressed by this well-kept theatre. Lovely lines and traditional furnishings. Staff were great, queues for ice creams were catered for efficiently and front-of-house was smooth. Toilets clean, bar pleasant and decent prices. Great small town theatre. Interesting programmes forthcoming

First time I have been to this Theatre and pleasantly surprised it's lovely. Leg room was good and the show was brilliant to say it was put on by the amateur dramatics team. Bar prices very good compared to some other theatres I have been to. I would definitely go back again.

Went to see a Queen tribute night last year and was very impressed. Theatre was packed, easy to park close by and good pubs and restaurants not far away. Theatre had disabled ramps and was welcoming for everyone. Drinks not overpriced for a captive audience and well organised for interval drinks collection. Show was good and audience were on their... Travel along the A58 from Leeds to Halifax and just after the intersection with the A6036 Bradford to Halifax road you start to climb a hill for a few hundred yards. At the top ,the splendid panoramic view spread below you ,nestled in the Calder Valley is the town of Halifax. It was most famous for a being a leading town... More

Not sure about the stall or Circle but seats on the top balcony were designed for people with 20 inch waist lines so not he most comfortable in the world although leg room was adequate, I had a large lady on my right so spent most of the performance having to lean into my good lady's space, at first she... Thank you for the review - unfortunately the seating is a little bit tight in the upper levels - those Victorians were generally much shorter and smaller than the average modern-day person! For future reference, the raked seating in the stalls is fabulous - wider seating and much more leg room. Sorry about that - but glad to hear that... More

Yes, it's a lovely theatre. Some of the stained glass is really lovely. The staff are helpful and cheerful. But .... We found the seating very tight and cramped. They could really do with taking out a row or two and spreading the remaining rows out to allow just a little more legroom and give sufficient space for latecomers to... More

Sorry, the seating in the Circle and Balcony is a bit tight. It's a bit of a balancing act to retain the seated capacity for the promoters and provide improved seating for our customers - it's something that we'll consider. If we can keep the artists coming with a reduced seating capacity then we can investigate it and see if... More
