Iconic bridge linking Gateshead quays with Newcastle quay. Great piece of design verging on art. If you can be there for an opening it's a bit of a spectacle. When the footway rises you realise how huge this thing is.

In Newcastle for a weekend trip and walked across the millennium bridge from Gateshead to Newcastle and back again. Some fantastic views made even better by the setting sun. Certainly well worth seeing.
