Fowey/Polruan is one of my favourite areas in Cornwall! It is far more relaxed and less pretentious than the likes of Padstow etc. The views are second to none across the Fowey Estuary! Just visit this cornish gem!

Came over from Mevagissey on the ferry and headed into town. Very pretty with very narrow streets. Found the roads to be clean and tidy. A lot of the shops are quite up market so are a bit pricey, think of Dartmouth. Plenty to look...More

Fowey (pronounced Foy) is a lovely little town with some great little shops. The sea front has various boat trips going on and from what we could make out, they have harbour tours which are 45 minutes long. We had a drink in a bar...More

We visited Fowey, and decided to rent a boat to drive around the estuary. The estuary is just next to the cute town of Fowey, which includes ice cream, gallery's, canoeing shops and so much more. If you are going to rent a boat they...More
