Lady Kentmores is an Antique shop with a difference, we stock all those normal antique shop stalwarts from fine porcelain to jewellery but we also are proud to deal in the more unusual side of the trade too from shrunken heads and medical oddities to fairground antiques. This is because owner George Johnson ( TV antiques expert, writer & treasure hunter) has a mission to bring a bit of fun & showmanship to the antiques trade,Every corner of the shop is jam packed with items of curiosity and interest, it is because of this that the shop has featured on television and in the press many times. The shop has also made the finals of the BBC Home & Antiques Best Antiques Shop in the UK!That's not a bad recommendation to have.

What an amazing shop! It's crammed with all kind of stuff. Coins, silverware, old postcards, radios, weird mask... The owner is amazing and knows a lot about all the items.

My wife and I were exploring the town centre of Callander yesterday and came across this little antique shop. Curious, we went inside to have a look. The shop itself is quite small, although they've maximised the use of the space available, as it is...More

It was good to find this shop open as on our previous visit to Callander it had been shut. There is a wide range of items for sale but I think that a bit of negotiation is needed to achieve more realistic prices. There is...More

Has to be seen to be believed. What a curious little shop and modest museum. Well worth the £1 to see a mummified cat and a taxidermy flying fish. What a curious wee place!

Hadn't visited before but popped in this time after seeing the owner on television. Very small but packed to the rafters with curious items.

This is a quirky store that is worth a wee look round although I'd suggest that it is more bric a brac and novelties than quality antiques. Come with sensibly low expectations and you'll be fine.

We popped in just passing through Callander. How wonderful a wee shop this is. If you love browsing the weird and collectable, then this is the place to visit. The owner was lovely and left us to browse. We would visit again.

Inside this antique shop is a tiny museum of curios collected by Cornelius Kentmore in the 19th century. Among them are the world's smallest Bible and the death masks of murderers Burke and Hare. Not worth making a special journey to Callandar for, but if...More
