A good day trip from Bideford or Ilfracombe, although outside the main season trips are not all that frequent. Avoid parking at the harbour (an iniquitous £11.50) and use car parks a bit further away. The journey can be a bit rough, so be prepared....More

If only we were able to spend more than a few hours on the island. There are so many things to see and watch from the birds to the seals. Next time will stop for a few days

Wasn't made clear on advertising how seasonal puffin visiting is if you are not into ornithology- therefore no puffins like on the picture! Otherwise it was good to see the island. Wished they had been more honest about the long haul up to the village...More

Yes, you can park just found the corner from the ship at Bideford (not sure about ilfracombe). Parking is cheap but you can't book in advance
