Interesting collection of combat memorabilia but could do with more explanation and human contact. What started off as a personal collection had morphed over the years - but now it has opened as a collection to the public, they could do with cleaning occasionally and better explanations of the items. Good way to spend an hour if you are interested... More

The quite large but also dusty collection unfortunately misses a chronological or thematic structure. Many exhibits also lacked of more accurate information about the origin and technical specifications etc. For the shown too expensive.

Set in the middle of no where but well worth a visit. Crammed from wall to wall with exhibits. Something for everyone

When working I would take time out bto visit,in the early days it was fun but much of a mans collection ...now it is much more than a film set. Go see this it is well worth a detour and visit.

We visited last week and although you can only really spend a couple of hours here the collection is truly amazing and worth a look.

well an amazing weekend, so many people in period uniforms, vehicles, displays. plenty of opportunity to buy different goods form old to new. well worth a visit, the museum is full of information, a great period "NAAFI" tuck shop, an all weather attraction hidden in Devon's glorious countryside!

We have visited Cobbaton numerous times over the past 12 years, the grandchildren have all loved it and coming here feels like visiting an old friend.

This was a good collection of WW1 & 2 memorabilia. lots of vehicles lots of guns, uniforms and bayonets. Chaotic organisation, but worth an hour or so to visit. Bit of a mare to get to due to the single track roads.

The collection is well worth a visit if you have any kind of interest in World War 2. They have a Lot of artefacts (and I mean a Lot). Amongst these are a Sherman, Mk 7 Churchill, T34, Self Propelled Arty, Rifles, Shells, Uniforms, Medals and all sorts of stuff but If you are expecting It to be laid out... More
