I know price is reduced at this time of year but very little is open so still seems rather expensive. I do think it needs to be a little cheaper especially for locals and family groups. We had food in the indoor play area and can't say it was wonderful. The chips were dry, mayonnaise was like vinegar, cheese was completely tasteless.

This afternoon being Christmas Eve wanted to take my grandson out to start the holiday ,this time of year you want something special ,I'm sad to say we did not find it at the big sheep this afternoon ,it was over priced as an entrance £30 to find no animals at all not even one sheep or donkey seeing that... Hello Graham, thank you for your review. It is always disappointing to receive a poor review especially in light of the many great reviews we have received during 2016. During the winter period our entry price is reduced to reflect the fact that our shows and some of our rides are not operational and because we do not have any... More

We brought our 1 year old her on 17th December we paid there was no animals in the barn only a farmers market. The rides were not open and to see santa it was an extra £6.50 per person. It was a waste of journey from Torquay.

Hello Nick, so sorry to hear you had such a disappointing visit when you came to the BIG Sheep last Saturday after traveling such a long way. During the winter we do not have any animals on site and we make it very clear on our website. We also state what is available during the winter and as you will... More

Thank you so much to the big sheep for giving us such a lovely and memorable day out! We visited while on holiday with our 2 children (age 2&4) and it was amazing! The guys delivering the shows were really entertaining and really got the children (and us) excited and interested about the whole farming process! They worked so hard... More

So having only moved to the area a couple of months ago we have never visited the big sheep before today and what a great day we had. The plan was to really visit to see the Christmas light show and other Christmas activities we had been told about. So myself and the 2 children 6 and 10 along with... More

Spent the day at The Big Sheep with my girlfriend on our week away in September and for the lower price we paid I think it was worth it. Sans kids this place loses a bit of its attraction however it was still worth going, we had lots of fun with the roller-coaster, sheep show with all the varieties (we... More

We visited the attraction in September so I appreciate we paid a lower entrance fee but we had so much fun that I think it was superb value. They have a great array of activities for adults and children and you can keep everyone entertained for the entire day incl. sheep sheering demonstrations, talks on brewing - with free samples!... Went to the big sheep in the October half term and loved it. Lots of Halloween activities to keep the kids entertained including panto, pumpkin carving & Halloween costume parades with prizes! Rides were great as well as the staff and sheep of course. Will definitely visit again
