While staying in Beverly recently we went to the food& drink fair in the minster which was fabulous. Lots of different stalls & very helpful, friendly vendors. Added bonus was the carol singers. Well done Beverly.

I went back to the Minster in order to visit the ‘roof-tour’, which was recommended and only happens occasionally.

I didn't know about this Minster but it was beautiful. Two Christmas trees flanked the choir area. A friendly guide was on duty. Apparently it has been used in various films including the latest 'Victoria'. I attended choral Evensong which was poorly attended and perhaps...More

Brilliant minister for size of the town. Kids were bored as expected but there is lovely history here and beautiful building. The lights on the night make it stand out

Have been coming to Beverley minster all my life, as I went to primary and secondary school in the area. Have always loved visiting with school or for events, definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.

Look out for the many 14th century carvings of musicians. A lot of them are along the North Aisle. The Quire contains 68 early 16th century stalls and each mercy seat or misericord has a unique carving underneath, though it is not possible to see...More

What’s to say it is a big church. As far as it goes it has spectacular architecture and dominates the view of the town. If you are into historic churches this one is definitely not to be missed. Personally I went to see the remembrance...More
