Stopped by Belwade Farm for lunch and was not disappointed! The food is very good, ranges from light bites and soup to full-on dinners and all reasonably priced. And the traybakes and cakes are well deserved after a good trek down to the river, and around the farm to say hello to the horses and ponies. Lovely friendly staff too... More

As our family visit The Belwade Farm on a regular basis, this last weekend we had xmas lunch which was excellent first class, the service was great staff can,t do enough for you. The kids love looking round the horses, we will certainly be going back and support the welfare of the horses.

Visited today for lunch and I was really impressed with Belwade Farm! The food was delicious, reasonably priced, service was excellent and the view was stunning! I never heard of this place before, perhaps should be advertised more so more people can enjoy it! It's great that farms like this exist, seeing all the horses and knowing that they are... More

Have visited here several times, and on a nice day sitting out on the terrace looking at the view there is nothing better. The food is very good with generous portions, prices are reasonable and staff friendly, after lunch or coffee nice to wander down and see the horses and ponies .

We decided to visit as part of our holiday, making sure we visited when the charity is open. Yes, it is a long-ish way from the road but we were amused by the encouraging signs ('Almost... More

Good restaurant/cafe style service in a beautiful location above the Dee valley and River Dee. Essentially a home for horses where they can be ridden and trained in an indoor school. Its a charity, so the cafe/restaurant, is probably a means to an end, to get punters interested in the horse side of the establishment, but that's fine. Worth the... More

We went to Belwade to learn about the WHW work with the horses with a group of children. The team were really warm and welcoming. A video introduction and a tour of the facilities including the stables, the forge, the area used by the vets. We got to meet some of the horses in for handling and work. The kids... More
