Central in the town good meeting place. Coffee excellent,good selection of food.Filled oatcakes very good and nice choice of fresh cakes and scones. Staff cheery and polite lovely to go there. Would recommend only downside are the plastic tablecloths!!!!!!!!

clean and tidy tea room over two floors, found a table took a while for someone to take our order, teapot could of done with being hotter and more than half full

It's now called Baileys and is just a tea shop. It's run by lovely people who do very nice food and cakes and teas. I go as often as I can.

Really nice clean friendly teashop,good choice food prices very reasonable, It now covers two floors,ground floor for people who cannot manage the stairs,I eat there whenever I am Newcastle,also my favourite meeting place with my friends,would recommend it.

I love this tea room - great choice of sandwiches and tea. Also a fantastic place to people watch! Staff are friendly and polite.

i LOVE this shop, its so useful for any bits and bobs i need and the staff are so friendly! the best part is that its so cheap too i never look into chain shops anymore because its so overpriced. the choice of cookie cutters...More
