Just had to visit while in the area, cost just under 20 pounds for three people and we were in and out within 40 mins. Beautiful displays but no staff around to talk about what we could see etc. It's worth a visit if you are a huge fan

We stayed a week in Bowness and all the little one could talk about was going to see Peter Rabbit's house. We've been reading the stories to her since birth, so this was a must for our 3 y.o. daughter. The displays are nice and there are some interactive elements. On the whole I found it a bit.. Meh. But... More

We took our daughter (almost three) here last weekend as she is Peter Rabbit obsessed. It was good but perhaps not the best for her age group ... There are little activities to do while going round the attraction which keep the older kids entertained but she was too young for this. It's probably more like a museum than anything... More

My sister and I weren't sure what we should expect when we went to visit the Beatrix Potter Museum. We thought maybe it would be aimed at young children and weren't sure what it would have to offer. What we found was a completely adorable, detailed, charming tribute to one of our favourite authors. The people behind this museum have... More

It was nice but that's it...just nice. Took less than half an hour to get around...just look at a few displays and that's it ....boring. Could do with some more interactive displays. Nice gift shop and cafe.

We love the Beatrix potter stories so this was a great place to visit with an excited 2 year old and a newborn although she did want to race through it. The work and love gone into creating this is very clear and it's beautifully put together. You can use Tesco clubcard vouchers here and the cafe is really nice.... More

Brought the 3 yr old and 3 month old baby. Used Tesco vouchers to pay for the majority of the admission cost - recommend using them to save a bit of cash... The route round was magical, the attention to detail was brilliant in all of the displays. The elder child flew round, so try and take your time as... More

Nicely set out with a lovely cafe however we felt it was over priced for how long you could spend here it's an hour max visit and we were reading all the signs on the way around!
