We do this walk each time we come to the Lakes. It's a short sharp climb to get a fantastic view right down the length of the Lake. We were lucky enough to watch RAF planes skirt down the Lake on training exercise.
Started this walk from the town, initially worried about the difficulty of this after reading some reviews. No problem for us, great views at the top but we would have preferred a longer walk!
