A great attraction which has something for all the family - the house, filled with the fascinating collection of Miss Rosalie Chichester, the interesting Carriage Museum, the beautiful gardens and a range of walks to suit all.

Arlington house sits in a vast acreage which offer a choice of walks. The gardens and greenhouse were very attractive, and the stables had been converted into a very interesting carriage museum. I hadn't realised there were so many types and styles of carriage. The...More

We visited in April and found the volunteers and the house was an excellent experience. The carriage museum was well worth a visit including th spectacular speakers coach.

My wife did the tour around the house while I walked the dog around the estate. We both had a thoroughly good time and both especially enjoyed the carriage museum. Well worth a visit.

Arlington is a beautiful house packed with wonderful collections of model ships, shells and all beautifully laid out in the grand but modest rooms. The staff in the house are a font of knowledge. The carriage museum is very interesting, loved walking round the stables...More

We have visited this place on many occasions, often just to use it as a base for walking or geocaching, which is why you have to show your passes in the house and carriage museum as questioned by the previous reviewer, as you can access...More

Visited here on a wet day, and had a nice lunch in the cafe that was once the Victorian kitchens....lovely food and staff. Arlington court had a cosy feel to it, and I would have loved a guided tour around, but sadly there were none...More

Sorry , I can't remember if its an inclusive price. You need good weather to view the gardens and estate though. I have visited often enough to know rain isn't good for walking through the lower estate

Not absolutely certain, as we don't have a dog, but I did see some people with dogs on leads around the grounds but not in the house or carriage museum. Hope this helps.
