While in Durham city centre we went for a walk around the market. You can quite easily loss track of time and before you know it an hour or more has passed.

Again worth a visit when you are in the Market Place, Durham City. A variety of stalls from card shops, veg shops, mineral/fossil shop etc. And not too expensive.

An excellent Victorian indoor market in the centre of Durham. The eye-catching hall has around 50 stallholders, and these include a very good mix of food, arts & crafts, plus general goods. Well worth a visit.
