Took the first trip up to Laxey then Ramsey. Covered carriage was fully booked by coach parties who usually take the first tram out so only uncovered seats available. Had no protection from wind, glad it didn't start raining. A novel if not a little...More

What the old trams used to be like, as it grinds its way to Ramsey. The Mountain railway is worth a trip, but you have to queue at Laxey, on a first come, gets on basis

good experience with stops at different places to stop if you want, advise if dull day to have something warm on as can be quite cold while travelling as carridges are not enclosed

Lots of interesting places to visit using the electric railway. We used the system several times, visiting Snaefell, Ramsey, Laxey and the Groudle Glen railway, all well worth the ride. Great views on the journey.

It is very easy to move about and at times either side, on the way 'up' I would say the right hand side, to get a good view of the Laxey wheel.
