If your around Douglas this is well worth a visit. Its on Douglas head by Manx Radio and can be seen from the promenade. If your on foot its quite a walk up lots of steps but the view and the attraction make it well worth it.

We loved the view from the cross at the top of the hill but that is not why we went up there. The tourist info. center told us it would be open, the sign said that it would be open, someone came out of there and offered to let my brother in before he closed it and walked away and... More

In an out in less than 5 minutes. Nothing worth writing home about. Mirrors and telescope captures pictures from outside.

Lovely views from Douglas head. Good opportunity to take photos of the whole bay and watch the ferries arrive and depart

I had only seen one of these on Midsummer Murders so was really excited to visit the attraction. It is only open 11.00- 16.00 Saturday and 11.00 - 1.00 Sunday £2.00 admission. Well worth a visit

My other half grew up on the island and the last few times we've been over, I asked what the green thing is on Dougie head near to the lighthouse. I looked it up myself to learn it is a Victorian attraction where by mirrors are used to reflect images from around the bay and harbour on to boards inside.... More

I really don't get this. It looks attractive from the outside, but I really don't see the point of standing in the dark, looking at really poor images of the bay, when one can simply stand outside in the sunshine and see it properly.
