These days dogs are not welcome on most beaches. This beach, however, welcomes dogs. There is a mile of shoreline with rock pools that dog walkers will love. Facilities are available in the nearby car park for disposal of dog waste.

We went to this beach a couple times during October, and it was a great beach to go for a walk and look for fossils (although we didn't find any at the time).

Dog friendly beach all year round, past the steps down to the beach on the opposite side from the Dinosaur Museum. We spent our evening here cooling the dog off in the sea. Parking charges apply but well worth it

Yaverland beach is very stoney but beautiful. Favoured by dog walkers. I prefer it in the Winter as it's a lovely windy walk. The rock formation is wonderful.

Just simply breathtaking on a sunny day - the beach is lovely fine sand and the views are divine. Wonderful place to just sit and while away some time.
