This trail passes through the town and the walk along the river is fantastic. A large number of different birds can be observed and there are metal sculptures at intervals along the way. Seats are provided and just sitting and looking isrewarding.

I walked the full 54.4 mile trail on the Cateran Yomp. Stunning scenery! Highly recommend to any walkers or hikers looking for a challenge but also perfect for those looking for less strenuous, wonderful scenery walks. You could walk a couple of miles or anything...More

This trail is far more personal. A mix if terrain, lovely villages, and if the sun shines, well it's a classic.

Moderate walking. Only one day involved a bigger climb. Suitable for family. Pub at or near each end of day for hot chocolate reward.

This is relatively easy leg of the trail. The climb out of Blairgowrie is pretty steep and could be off-putting to non-hikers, but it gets easier after that.

Hi Shirley, I'm not sure, there is many parts that have horses etc but I am not qualified to say of the full trail is possible by Horse. Good luck with your adventure!
