I'm heading to the UK (England and Scotland) in June. I contacted Bruce just this weekend to see if he could do a private tour of Stirling as I am a history aficionado and want to see Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle. It's just a day stop off the train as I travel from Edinburgh to Inverness. Bruce is, sadly,... More

We had never been to the Highlands but wanted a three day highlight tour. Bruce responded promptly to our request and quickly developed an itinerary that incorporated the sites we wished to see. Based on the good reviews on this site, we quickly closed the deal. This is the off-season in the Highlands but Bruce came up with great guest... More

I'll start the review by saying I gave a five star rating because the entire event was five star! Bruce picked me up at my hotel in Loch Lomond looking dashing in his kilt ensemble and driving a shiny Land Rover, thus making a very good first impression. I let Bruce know that my new hip was acting up a... More

From the time he collected us at our hotel in Edinburgh to our last drop off in Stirling, Bruce Telford had it all covered. Driving in the luxury Land Cruiser is extremely comfortable and smooth, and definitely made the tour more pleasurable. Everything was organised to perfection but still allowed for flexibility when we were able to take advantage of... More

We engaged Bruce for one day to show us and our friends Glasgow. He arranged a fantastic tour; we saw and did things we never would have found or done on our own. Next we engaged Bruce to drive the two of us to and from Tayvallich, Scotland; he arranged two full days of outstanding touring. We so enjoyed his... More

Coming to Scotland for the first time and especially to the far northern Highlands ... we were looking for the wild and raw remote landscape and people of this area . it is not easy since Scotland is traveled extensively by a lot of people and tourists and everything that they bring with them . We were lucky in this... More

Scotland is wild and moody and beautiful and traveling with Bruce for five days was like traveling with an old friend. His love and knowledge of his homeland is wonderful and we learned about and saw so many places, usual and places you will not find tour busses (Like the fishing village of Elgol and the Museum of Island Life... Bruce was a spirited, knowledgeable host on our family tour of the Highlands and Skye. Bruce arranged comfortable accommodations and great places to dine throughout our tour. Our ride was very comfortable and Bruce kept us on schedule even as we made a fun detour or two. The scenery and sites were spectacular on the itinerary Bruce put together for... More

Bruce is the real deal. A genuine person who loves his work and people. We toured mostly the Scotland Highlands with Bruce for 5 days. It was a great decision to hire Bruce as a guide. We would have seen and enjoyed far less with another means of touring wonderful Scotland. The extra knowledge he brings to the whole experience... More
