In the kirkyard at Balquhidder, nice to visit. It is a surreal little town-you won't find it on any tour bus!

For those interested in the MacGregors, this is good to see. The trip to get there can be hard (our sat nav took us on a long, thin, winding road) and it was raining, but this only added to the atmosphere

Visited church and Rob Roy MacGregors grave. Inside the church there are details of what Rob Roy did. Surprised he died of old age.

A scenic drive to the grave which looks older than it is. There is also a scenic walk from there that takes you to an epic view of the nearby Loch.

Drove with a private hire up to the site from Stirling. A very scenic drive through the country and up towards the Highlands. This is a very old church and cemetary where Rob Roy and relatives are buried. Very spiritual feelings while walking around this...More

We stayed in Kippen and were advised to visit Rob Roy's grave - which we dutifully did. While wandering around the church we noticed a walk up to the Boars head (I think I got that right). Needing the exercise we (wife, dog,me) decided to do...More
