Ightham Mote is a home built in the thirteenth century with a moat, lake, and gardens... Afterwards, we visited Penshurst Place which is a much larger home. It has very extensive and beautiful gardens which were just coming into bloom when I was there. I enjoyed my visit there as well.”

My goodness there were lots of people there! Biggest challenge was avoiding people, it is big enough, some relly stupid eople, it’s the start of spring, the stags have large horns and not long to rutting yet idiots with small children going right up to these wild animals and ignoring all the warning and feeding them too! Calm beautiful grounds

Great tour, lovely park and house. Eddy Sackville's apartment within the house has a wonderful painting by Graham Sutherland.

One of my favourite natural trusts ever! Beautiful scenery’s ideal for families couples or any age group cheap to get in at £3 for larking for the day and you get to get close to the deer and stags that roam freely on these beautiful grounds, also has a historical house for history enthusiasts quite cheap to buy a ticket fro the coffee shops and a beautiful place to have a nice picnic while watching the deer in their natural habitat! A bonus is that of you go to the back of knole park you can park for free. Highly recommend this place it’s highly therapeutic.

We have been round Knole before so on this occasion just walked in the grounds and visited the cafe. You can do this without having to pre-book. The grounds are extensive and attractive with plenty of paths, wooded areas and lots of deer. The highlight this time was a cream tea at the excellent cafe and wonderful scones! Good value for money. Highly recommended!
