The residents and visitors to Frinton are so lucky to have this available. Fully professional theatre productions with stars from West End and TV. We saw 'Me and My Girl' in the Marquee on the Greensward. Although a performance had been cancelled due to 50mph winds, we moved our tickets to the next day without any problem. I had wondered if watching a performance in a tent in the wind would prove distracting, with flapping sides, but the performace was so absorbing that I didn't notice my surroundings. I won't single out cast members - they were equally as good - but the whole production including music, sound, set and lighting was great. I would happily go again.…

One For The Road, was the opening play by Willy Russell. We were not disappointed. A great play and very funny. The actors were excellent especially as there were only 4 of them. Worth seeing this play. We love the summer theatre season at Frinton. Highly recommend .

We have watched various performances over the past few years and have never been disappointed in fact the performances get better each year. You need to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. This is a small old and quirky summer theatre which adds to the charm of a Frinton.…

My wife and I have been coming to the Summer Theatre for many years now and have always enjoyed the shows that have been put on and some have been particularly brilliant. Last night we came to see Private Peaceful. Absolute knock-out!! Well done to all involved and a special thanks to Will Taylor for such a wonderful performance as Private Tommo Peaceful. This is a superb theatre, going back on a time warp, what can one say, old style politeness, no bad language , happy and well turned out. The interval where you get your drink and all trip outside for a chat before going back in for the second half. But that is nothing compared to the programme which is amongst the best I have seen outside of the West end, so make no changes whatsoever to this brill set up…
