Being part of the ATG group (or at least it used to be and I think it still is) the theatre is regularly used as a warm up location for productions that are destined for the West End. The advantages of going to Richmond are that the tickets cost considerably less than in the West End, the theatre has a... More

I guess we all have to accept that you might have to pay a premium for a drink in a theatre. ...but I think £8.40 for a small, warm glass of white wine in a plastic cup is excessive. The plastic cup was because the dishwasher was broken , not related to any rules on glass in the auditorium. I... More

On a trip to south west London and such a place to go see. Shame didn't stay to watch a show, maybe next time.

Visited Richmond Theatre for the first time this week to watch Stepping Out. Great show, great. Cast, great Theatre. The Theatre was fabulous. I received an email reminder the day before with travel details and recommended local restaurants. Then after the show received a thank you email asking for feedback. Now that's what I call superb service. Have booked a... More

Took my daughter to see 'Cinderella'. Lovely building, easy to locate from the tube stop with great, friendly staff.

We have seen many plays, opera and musicals at Richmond theatre over the years and continue to return as we haven't been disappointed yet. We book tickets for Richmond theatre throughout the year at a discounted price through the ATG membership which offers plays such as "The Woman in Black", "Swan Lake", "Madam Butterfly", "Carmen" and many more at a... A beautiful theatre that has kept all of its original features. It's a piece of history. There really isn't a bad seat in the house as it has been designed in a time before mod cons, The acoustics are very good for the same reason. The bar prices are hilarious, but so are all theatres these days.

Many plays etc start here to test reaction for the west end. Prices lower than London Theatres but with all the charm. Great place, a real step back into history. Good bar serves many different typed of drinks...Non known for its food but so many lovely places nearby.

A beautiful theatre in a quiet part of Richmond often home to shows before they go to the West End. Saw a performance of The Dresser which was brilliant. However, the whole evening was enhanced not only by the atmosphere but also by the excellent staff who were pleasant and helpful. Will certainly be returning.

Very interesting place. Combination of great architecture and your choice of theatre. Enjoyable space for couples and friends.
