We visited on a misty day so couldn't see the top of the statue, but what we saw was very impressive. It was easy to find and we'll sign pis ted.

This attraction is closed due to dangerous steps. No plans as far as I know for it to open. This ia a great shame as it gave great views of the island and Snowdonia.

The Marquess of Anglesey's Column was actually closed when we were there even though it wasn't supposed to be. Missed one of the high lights of the journey for that reason according to my friend.

Travellers and tourists should be aware that sadly this site is now CLOSED to visitors, although thist is not evident from the nearby car park. Locals told me that the column is in a poor state of repair and not safe to access. As the owners do not have any funds to carry out the repairs it is uncertain when... More

Having lived on the isle of Anglesey for many years during my childhood I decided to bring my Hubbie here for a long weekend and show him the sights! Having parked in the car park and taken a steady walk to the gates, we were told by two dog walkers that the column was closed and had been for a... More

I've been a number of times with Family and friends a great stop with great views from the top, I 've noticed a few complaints about it being closed, but that's only for your own safety on windy days

Sooooo frustrating !! I had been several times before but really wanted to show my wife the stunning view. It was not like we were on holiday in the middle of January. It was Autumn half term and a gorgeous sunny day. Anyway, we shrugged our shoulders and drove over to South Stack for an arguably better vista and free... More

11 August 2015. Gate pad locked. Sign still up telling people how much to go in £1.50 The entrance from the gate going in is now looking over grown. If closed for a long time, should sign be taken down? Sign put up saying so.

I visited this when I was a child and had great fun climbing the stairs and the view at the top was magnificent on a good day. However, I went with my granddaughter August 14 and it was closed! I emailed them when I got back home and I've just had a reply!!! July 15!!!!! I would recommend a visit,... More
