Smack in the middle of one of the ancient roman settlements you have this great museum. It is not huge so you do not have to worry if standing /walking is an issue. You are also walking distance to the amphitheater.

A small but very interesting Roman antiquities museum. Many local finds from the Caerleon and Usk areas, coins jewellery and pottery finds to name but a few. Good explanations of the Caerleon site development. Some amazing exhibits.

We visited Caerleon to see the Roman bath and this museum was an added bonus. Displaying lots of Roman artifacts. They were also offering a kids sheet. Excellent to experience some local history with free entry.

A must if one is into Roman life. The garden was exquisite. The children had fun with the wooden hobby horses whilst playing in the garden.
