Recommend to go between 5-6pm if travelled are looking to go over to watch the sunset as it can be very hot during the day.

The Tip of Borneo is really beautiful site! You are on the end of the world! Be aware of big waves which can take you straight to ocean, breathe and take amazing shots. Standing on the tip of Borneo take a look back on the shore - you'll see truly Martian landscape. I would love to see this again and... More

This is literally the Tip of Borneon island overlooking The South China Sea and the Sulu Sea. The view is amazing, the ocean looked blue and vast. If you're in Kudat, this is a must visit, and no entrance fee. But it is 4 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu and 3 hours from Ranau. too far away from other attractions... More

Tanjung Simpang Mengayau or Tip of Borneo is just breath-taking! You need to walk in park-like grounds, going down hill reaching the large bronze globe, then only you will see the tip.

Spend a night here to catch a glimpse of the milky way if the weather is good. If the tide is low, you may walk down to the rocks there to take photos but be extremely careful as the waves can hit very strong and the rocks are slippery.

We are here again. Glad to see the kids playing on the beach. Weather was good when we were here. I recommend to stay in Merrimas villa and at misompuru homestay. Merrimas villa located very near to the tip. Can go down to the beach and enjoy the sun rise at their sun deck. Price is reasonable . Clean room... More
