It's half-hour-drive away from Kudat maritime town. 3-hour-30min drive from Kota Kinabalu. nice short walk to get down to the tip of borneo, where the 2 seas meet, and as you will notice, the winds meet and create this amazing feeling to be at the end of something. This is the 3rd time we came here. And this time we take mom with us. The beach is cleAn and water is so clear. Last Jan we came here , water is not clean. So many sand flies. Simpang Mengayau simply means the meeting point of pirates, but there are various versions of it. It is situated at the tip of Borneo Island (3rd largest island in the world). If youve come as far as north borneo/north sabah you've got to go just that little bit further to see this place. The beaches and coastline are stunning & not overpacked with tourists like some places in sabah but the blank horizon and amazing sunset you can see from here are pretty priceless busy or not because the view can... Its a quite budget chalet u Cn gt amomg the beach of tips of Borneo. The chalet was just beside the beach AMD tips of Borneo.
