This is a great way to see the beaches at Abel Tasman park. The trip starts out with a view of split apple rock before it heads north. We took a trip out to the farthest beach (Totaranui), turned around and then got off at Onetahuti beach. From there we hiked back to Bark Bay and were picked up by... More

I went up to able Tasman park recently to do abit of site seeing (as I've been living in this country for so many year and haven't done it). So I decided to take a water taxi to a bay called anchorage and then walk out. The staff at the taxi company were very helpful and the boat ride smooth.... More

Aqua taxi has it all figured out! Seriously they couldn't mJe it any easier for you. Arrive, pay, jump in boat and they deliver you to the ocean via tractor pull and launch you into the water. Delivery to beach was prompt and in time after a quick thorough few minute tour of a few must see sites- split Apple... More

The sea conditions were not perfect, but the boat handled them well, and we had a very skillful skipper who took us into nooks and cranny's along the coast. We saw seals frolicking in rock pools from up close. We made a return trip stopping for three hours at Awaroa Bay, and having lunch at Peppers Resort. A fantastic day... More

My wife and I did a three hour round trip that was called the Full Scenic Tour. It was a good introduction to the Park. They made their regular stops but also made a few special stops to see wildlife and scenery. They also gave us a lot of insight regarding some of the stops and the Park. We found... More

Abel Tasman is an amazing park with hiking trails (tracks) that hug the amazing coastline. The Abel Tasman Aqua Taxi service is the best way into the park. They are punctual and friendly...made for a great day. If you are in the Nelson area - this is must.

We have now used this company on four separate occasions to get to and from the various sections of the Abel Tasman coastal walk. Not only are they very efficient, well organised, flexible and reliable, but they bring some good Kiwi humour and light hearted crack when their various skippers take you on board. These guys really know what they... More

What a fantastic day in Abel Tasman courtesy of Aqua taxis. We climbed aboard at the booking office were all parties were efficiently distributed to various boats according to their itinerary. We then were taken on a wonderful trip around the coast by very knowledgeable pilots who explained what we were seeing and also how the day would pan out. We... More
